1. Current AI Usage

As of September 2026, how2austria.com uses AI as a support tool in content creation. All published materials undergo mandatory editorial review before being published on the site.

1.1. Site Content

  • Article drafting and preparation — AI helps structure material, formulate paragraphs, and verify facts. The final text is always edited and approved by a human.
  • Translation between languages — draft translation between Russian, German, and English is performed with AI assistance, then reviewed by a native speaker.
  • Image generation — article covers and illustrations are created using the Seedream 5.0 Lite neural network (4-panel composites). All images are AI-generated and do not depict real events.
  • Headlines and descriptions — AI may be used to formulate headline and meta-description variants; the final choice is made by the editor.

1.2. Analytics and Personalization

The site uses standard web analytics tools:

  • Google Analytics 4 — standard traffic analytics
  • Pagefind — site search (without AI)
  • Loops.so — newsletter management (without AI functions)

These services are not considered “AI systems” under the EU AI Act.

2. EU AI Act Compliance

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU AI Act):

2.1. Classification

AI tools used on the site (text and image generation) fall under the General-Purpose AI category. They are not classified as:

The site is not a provider of high-risk AI systems and does not make automated decisions affecting user rights.
